Buy five types of cheese: creamy, firm, aged, blue, and soft. Of course, Boursin Cheese makes the perfect creamy cheese for any platter. Allow for around 85 g of cheese per guest.
No charcuterie is complete without the three essential meats: prosciutto, salami, and pepperoni. Go ahead and slice a couple pieces of each and arrange on the platter.
Fresh or dried fruit, pieces of chocolate, a thick chutney, and even drizzled honey will add just enough contrast to the savoury and salty flavor profile you’re building.
Scatter a couple handfuls of nuts around the platter, but don’t overdo it. Pick just two or three at the most. We recommend candied pecans or walnuts, pistachios, or almonds.
The only thing left is the vehicle in which you’re going to deliver this tasty creation. Bread, crackers, bagel chips, and even artisanal crisps—choose at least two.
